Clifton Place is a mixed-use development that combines row housing, work/live units, high rise apartments, and professional office space with underground parking. At the edge of the Groat Estate Neighbourhood, the site is a visual extension of the Jasper Avenue high density corridor, close to both the River Valley trail system and commercial development along 124 Street and 102 Avenue. Project design maximizes view corridors, minimizes periods of solar shadowing on surrounding property, improves connectivity between public and private spaces and addresses safety through Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design. Project amenities include public art, an amenity park, a multi-use trail and a top-of-bank viewing platform. ParioPlan was responsible for community consultation, amending the Groat Estate Implementation Plan, drafting custom DC-2 zoning regulations and facilitating Council approval.
